These bolt through into the door and prevent bending of the doors at the sides, these are made by both Asec and federal such as the D613. The locks shoot into the garage door and lock into the frame. They also have a high security profile of which a normal key cannot enter and the keys are keyed alike. These type of locks are generally made by the ASEC company and as such are of high quality.

Did you know that you can also use internal bolts to secure garage door from inside too, these are bolts which can be locked from the inside. A garage door deadbolt offers high security for your garage such as the SureLock or ERA deadbolt. Of course with these kind of locks, you need to have a side door or other door to exit the garage from.
