Hi, I’m Andrew, the founder of Lemon Locksmith. I take pride in being a locksmith and serving my communities with reliable locksmithing and security services.

My journey as a locksmith

I began my locksmith training in Wakefield nearly 5 years ago, and since then, I’ve continued to develop my skills across the UK. While completing years of training and becoming fully accredited with the Master Locksmith Association (MLA) is a career highlight, I’ve also undergone additional training at Train Locksmiths in Manchester, and I’m a proud member of the UK Locksmith Association. 

I founded Lemon Locksmith in 2020 with the goals of being an independent business owner and providing the city I love with superior locksmithing and home security services. 

So far, so good…

What I do

I’m a locksmith, so I pick locks, right? While that’s not entirely wrong, my work is a bit more nuanced, and I spend a lot of my time:

  • Repairing faulty locks and fixing broken door locking mechanisms
  • Installing and maintaining high-quality safes
  • Keeping up to date with the latest security advancements, including modern electronic and smart locks. 
  • Repairing fire, aluminium, glass, and uPVC doors
  • Drinking cups of tea

We really are as local as local can be, unlike many national locksmith chains that use cheap tricks like virtual 0113 numbers or SEO wizardry to convince you they’re local. The odds are good that you’ve seen me and my family whizzing around Leeds in the Lemon Locksmith van, out shopping at White Rose Centre, taking a walk in Roundhay Park with our dogs and a reluctant cat, or even window-shopping at Harvey Nichols after a particularly good week.
